Crunchies (makes about 30 squares)
Another favourite that my mom used to make us, delicious!
Method:
Melt margarine and syrup together
Add bicarb and stir until frothy
Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly
Flatten out in a greased, rectangular dish
Bake at 160 degrees for 25-30mins
Cut into squares while still warm

* No need for a mixer, a wooden spoon works perfectly
* They need to be a golden brown, so be careful not to burn them
