No chill Christmas cookies (makes +-40 biscuits)
What is a holiday, or any celebration for that matter, without decorated biscuits :)
Method:
Cream butter and sugar for about 3mins
Beat in vanilla and almond essence and the egg
In a separate bowl, mix baking powder, flour and salt
Add dry ingredients slowly to the creamed butter/sugar
Turn out and gently knead by hand
Work on floured surface in small batches and roll dough out a little thick
Use a cookie cutter to cut out your shapes and bake at 175 degrees C (350 degrees F) for about 7 1/2 minutes
