Chocolate cake (1 large cake or 2 round smaller cakes)
This is the best chocolate cake recipe ever! This cake lasts forever and tastes great! Makes quite a few dishes but well worth it
Method: cake
Mix water, cocoa, oil and margarine in a bowl in the microwave.
Stop when boiling (bowl 1)
Mix sugar and bicarb into a second bowl (bowl 2)
Pour hot mixture from bowl 1 into bowl 2 and mix
Beat eggs, with buttermilk and vanilla essence. (bowl 3) Add to sugar mixture
Sieve flour and baking powder into mixture and whisk together
Put into a dish and bake at 180 degrees for 35mins

Melt margarine, buttermilk and cocoa slowly in a pot
Add icing sugar
Pour over cake while cake is still warm

* Can be made in a large rectangular dish or 2 round pans
* Before iced, the cake can be frozen
* Ice cake while still warm to help the icing spread. Icing and cake mustn't be too hot
