This is a recipe that has been in my family for years. When my mom was a little girl, they used to go to Beira in Mozambique for the holidays. A trip was not complete without special biscuits made by my gran. Hence the name, beira

Method:
Cream the margarine and castor sugar in a bowl
Add egg and vanilla essence and mix
Work in the flour and salt into the dough
Roll dough into small balls then cover with breadcrumbs. A good size for a ball is 15g
On a greased tray, bake at 180 degrees for 12mins, or until golden brown

* Kellogs cornflake crumbs are better to use than traditional breadcrumbs. You can make your own by mashing up corn
